At our day care nursery in Luton we have great facilities to provide fantastic care to babies and children aged between three and five.

We understand that we need to get everything right with our very youngest children. We therefore have a specialist baby area that is perfect for children up to the age of 14 months, or until they are walking steadily. Our aim is to give you total peace of mind and make sure that your baby is happy and comfortable.

Our dedicated area for babies includes areas for play and rest, plus a separate sleeping area fitted with cots. The children we care for in this part of the nursery all follow their own individual routines for feeding and sleeping. This area has three members of staff with the capacity to care for six children at a time.

For children aged between three and five, we have a nursery school on the ground floor with a fantastic range of facilities. These include two learning rooms, outdoor play areas, toilets, and a drinking water fountain. We also have a quiet area that's dedicated to story time, designated creative and role-play areas, and access to iPads and other IT facilities. We want our children to feel comfortable and relaxed so they can get on with learning and having fun. The rooms in our nursery have lots of natural light and are decorated with soft colours to create a great place to play and learn. At Learning Corner Daycare Nursery, protecting the children we work with is of paramount importance to us. We have put extensive policies in place to ensure we deliver the highest standards of early years education and care, as well as protecting and safeguarding the children we care for. We regularly update our policies to ensure they work well for both children and parents.

We are compliant with the Luton Safeguarding Children Board procedure and with the Section 11 Children Act 2004. In the event of a complaint, we will respond in a professional and appropriate manner. Copies of all of our policies are available from the nursery on request. Please contact us for more information.

Our fees operate on a sliding scale depending on the age of the child and whether they are with us full time or part time. Part time sessions run from 8.30 – 11.30am and 12.30 – 3.30pm, and a full day runs from 8.30am - 3.30pm. Breakfast and tea can be provided for an additional cost, and snacks are available for an extra fee of £1 per week.

We accept childcare vouchers offered by employers. Vouchers are non-taxable and exempt from NI contributions for employees. Both parents can claim vouchers if both are working and eligible.

We also offer a sibling discount scheme if you are registering more than one child or one of your children already attends our nursery. We offer a 10% discount off your older child's fees when their younger sibling joins us.

Three year olds are entitled to 15 hours of free nursery education per week. This begins from the term after their third birthday. In addition, Luton residents who are on a low income, receiving benefits, or receiving working tax credits may be entitled to up to 15 hours of free childcare per week for your two-year-old child.
