Safeguarding

At Learning Corner Nursery, the safety and well-being of every child is our top priority. Our comprehensive safeguarding policy ensures a secure environment where children can thrive.

Responsibility and Commitment

  • Safeguarding children is a shared responsibility of the nursery, staff, volunteers, service providers, parents, and other carers.
  • The nursery is dedicated to creating a secure and supportive environment to help children grow and develop safely.

Partnership and Policies

  • The nursery works in partnership with other children’s services agencies.
  • There are specific duties and rules about information sharing, and concerns must be reported and recorded.
  • The nursery has a Safeguarding Policy aligned with the Luton Borough Council Safeguarding Children Board Procedures and national guidelines.

What Parents/Carers Can Do

  • Parents and carers should report any concerns, no matter how small, to a trusted person or the designated child protection officer at the nursery.
  • The safeguarding policy is available from the nursery office for further information.
